Traverse City Film Festival

The Traverse City Film Festival is a charitable and educational non-profit organization founded by filmmaker and local resident, Michael Moore. Each year it features nearly 200 screenings at the State Theater, Bijou by the Bay, City Opera House, and other local venues. A variety of free events is also available including classic movies in the Open Space Park overlooking the Grand Traverse Bay, and panel discussions with directors, actors, writers, and other members of the film industry each day of the six-day festival.
